The science is in Exercise isn’t the best way to lose weight

I have read more than sixty lessons on this subject, and it turns out that exercise is actually useless when it comes to weight loss.

Drs. Kevin Hall at the National Institutes of Health has done some of the most important courses in exercise and weight loss We need to re-exercise… Exercise is not a tool for weight loss privately, it is good for health is probably the best thing you can do without quitting smoking to improve your health. But don't think of it as a weight loss tool. Exercise will help you to live a long, happy life…. It's not just a good way to lose weight. And the reason has to do with the way our bodies use energy. You may not notice it, but exercise is actually a small part of your daily energy burn. There are three main ways in which our bodies burn calories.

This includes your relaxing metabolism, so your energy burns your body due to its basic functioning, keeping you alive, basically. Part of the cost of energy is the result of thermic food, and that is just how much energy is needed to break down food in your body. A third of energy use is physical activity. For most people, exercise - whatever activity you do, accounts for only about 10 to 30 percent of exercise. So most of the energy or calories you burn every day comes from your basal or resting metabolism, which you can control most of. While 100% of your calories are in you, only 30% of your calories are in your hands. One study found that if a man who weighed 200 pounds [200 kg] ran an hour, 4 days a week, he would lose about 5 pounds, assuming that everything else was the same. And everything else is not always the same! Researchers have found that we do all kinds of physical adjustments when we begin to increase the amount of exercise we receive each day. First, exercise makes people hungry. And I’m sure you know the feeling: you go to spinning class in the morning, and then when you eat breakfast you’re so hungry you probably don’t double the size of the portion of oatmeal you usually eat.

There is evidence that some people just slow down after work, so if you run in the morning you may be inclined to take the stairs at work. This is called “compensatory behavior” the various ways in which we harm our performance unknowingly. Investigators have also discovered a substance called metabolic compensation. As people begin to lose weight, their resting metabolism may decrease. So the amount of energy you burn while resting is low. That means the bar can shrink as you begin to lose weight. There is still much research to be done, but one study from 2012 is particularly interesting. They went out to the center of Savannah in Tanzania to measure the energy level between a group of poachers called Hadza. These are hard-working hunters. Users have their days behind a computer at a desk. And what they found was shocking. What we found was that there was no difference at all. So even though Hadza has a more active lifestyle, they were not burning more calories every day than adults in America and Europe.

Somehow the energy he used to exercise is reserved or stored elsewhere. So how do they stay young? They do not overeat. We can reduce the calories we burn in the gym very quickly. It can take about an hour to run to burn the Big Mac and fry. You will have to spend about an hour dancing vigorously to burn three glasses of wine that you can drink for dinner. An hour of deep cycling on exercise bikes to heat about two donuts. This is why exercise is best seen as a healthy addition to a diet-focused strategy. But despite the highest rates of obesity in the US, government agencies continue to introduce exercise as a solution ... as do companies with a genuine interest in ensuring that we continue to eat and drink their products. Since the 1920s, companies like Coca-Cola have been adhering to the message of exercise. The idea here is that you can drink all these extra bottles of soda as long as you exercise. But as we can see, that is not the case. In fact, burning those extra calories from a soda cup is really difficult. We have a weight problem in this world, and we should not treat low exercise and eat as many calories as he does. Public health policy makers should prioritize the development of our restaurant to help people make healthy choices about what they eat. It is impossible to lose weight with exercise; it is very difficult. And we need to see how that works. If you go to the gym, and you burn all these calories, it takes you a long time to do so and you put in a lot of effort, you can clear that up in five minutes and eat a piece of pizza. The relative size is actually amazing, and most people don’t fully appreciate that.
